This year, there will not be a district-wide competition. Obviously, individual schools are still welcome to participate in school-level competitions. I have included the names of the schools and their point of contact on the "Get Started/Process" page of this website. Hopefully, next year we will have enough participation from other schools in the district to warrant a district-wide competition again.

Hello Trash to Fashion Participants,
I hope you’re all just as excited as I am about this year’s competition on Sunday, April 23rd at Westerville North High School! I just wanted to send a reminder that if you’re not in the Trash to Fashion Schoology Group, please join ASAP (see you building representatives for details). This group will be used to communicate important updates and information regarding the competition. It is also a place where participants can ask questions. Also, the Participant Information Form is due to your building representative no later than Monday, April 10th. Please remember to complete both sides of the form. This form will become a part of the event dossier that the judges will refer to when scoring the designs. It will also be used to introduce you and your models and to describe your design. So, please be as thorough as possible. Good luck with your designs and have fun! We're excited to be gearing-up for our second-annual Trash to Fashion competition! Entry forms are due to school representatives by February 17th so DON'T DELAY!!!
I hope everyone is ready for tomorrow! This year we have an amazing 59 students from 10 schools showcasing 36 designs!! Please be at the auditorium at Westerville North High School no later than 1:30pm. There will be a short dance performance on stage at 2:00 pm with the fashion show starting immediately after (around 2:10pm).
Even though designers and models will have room backstage to finalize finishing touches, I recommend coming to the event with hair and makeup essentially complete. See you tomorrow! And GOOD LUCK!!! We've received another generous donation from the McCarthy family and PINK. We now have an $800 prize package! Thank you!
Trash to Fashion has received a generous $200 private donation to be used at the district competition! This has enabled us to add additional winners at each school level. Check out the Prize Package page for additional information.
